The loss of this core value, this bedrock principle and practice, is among the biggest problems we humans have today…on every level.

Why? Look to Abraham: because it might actually be a visitation from God. Look to Jesus: because to welcome the stranger is to welcome Jesus himself. Look to Genesis: because every human is made in the image of God.

It’s really hard not to panic right now.
