For those interested, here’s what I ended up doing…pulling out the stitching and stitching the x’s further apart.

Update on my heart pillow cushion cover: I pulled out the previous embroidery stitches because I thought they were too close together. I like this spacing of the organic x’s better ♥️

This mini quilt top is destined for a pillow cover. I machine quilted around the hearts with my walking foot and started hand stitching x’s along the seams but now I’m not so sure I like the embroidery stitches for this. Thinking about pulling them out. Thoughts?
