Okay, okay. THAT is a flower spike on my Pleurothallis grobyi orchid. First time it's gonna flower for me in the several years I've had it.

I must have finally gotten the light, air flow, and fertilizing just right for it. Hnn.

Anyway. I'm VERY excited.

One sock fixed (the bottom one).

The only issue is that my socks are very stretchy and the darned section is not. So I'm not sure how that will wear.

Okay, slight change of plans. We're attempting to darn one of my favorite socks that's getting threadbare.

I also carved the darning egg with a handle and it's working so well.
Needle with golden yellow thread is threaded through a yellow sock turned inside out. It's wrapped over a darning egg and the thread is weaved through the sock.

Doing another lap blanket with a moss stitch this time. Which looks really nice, but is a yarn eater.

I'm loving this color though. It's Peaches & Crème in Oasis. But I need like, six more balls of it to get the blanket size I want. Lmao.

I think that's a new spike on my Pleurothallis grobyi. Which if it is, it will be the first time in five years that it blooms for me, so I'm excited.

Not sure why this one has been so difficult for me, but I'm hopeful now.

Finished the leafy bit of my Woobles snail.

Gonna start the cat tomorrow probably.

Honestly, practicing the basic crochet stitches on my own on scrap yarn first has helped sooo much in being able to finish these.

I attatched the shell on upside down, but she's done! Happy lil snail.

Lost yarn chicken, but I'm a 'good enough' type person, so I just finished it with the wonky corner. 😂
Grey and white crocheted blanket, but the yarn on the crochet hook has run out about an inch and a half from the last corner. A tellow stitch marker marks that corner.

They're usually a smooth polished stone in the shape of an oval with a shallow dent in the middle. You rub your rub against the dent and it's supposed to help with anxiety and such, like a fidget toy.

Been making some wood worry stones with scrap wood.

How I hold my crocheting yarn. 😂 Doing it around my pinky finger annoys the shit out of me bc it slips too much. This just works better for me.

Picked up this lab-grown Chalcanthite over the summer and didn't realize it can be toxic and is water soluble, so I finally got a case for it. Nobody lick it.

Just a little wood thing to sit on top of my oil heater when I'm not actively using it. I made it so I can set a small fan on top of it or use it as an end table next to my chair during summer. Lol.

The little oil heater table I made is doubling as a writing table for when I'm in bed, when the heater is being used. Love that for me, actually. Multi-use things are sooo nice for small spaces.

Like clockwork, my Mammillaria plumosa is flowering again this year.

It has two little flower buds on it and I love it so much.
