No uniform really comes without baggage, but I associate these with a certain romanticism and kitsch. You know, Nutcrackers and by extension Barbie.

Can't find real ones on Twitter, the people on here largely don't share my vision. And going to where everyone actually produces content (Twitch/YT), that's THEIR channel, so it's only one sided.

Just got around to reading this. I immediately thought of the 'drama' on 'flesh-posting' over on Twitter. It was that very same distinction, that so many were not willing to make. Surprisingly. Because to me, the immersive experience is foundational to this scene.

I once managed to find a place on the desktop browser version where you could actually look at all the streams linked to a certain game, like you would on Twitch. But that was like a year ago and I never found it again.

Using the search function for that on YT is so broken. I wouldn't call categories and tags functional at all.
