I want to begin with a series “Throwbacks from Instagram” to move my art here to Bluesky. Once a week I will post an old painting and share some of the inspiration/story behind it. This is “Jig of Life” (24”x36” acrylic on canvas) the painting through which I found my unique artistic voice 1/
The second “Throwback from Instagram” is “Dusk Dancer”. 16”x20”. Before I painted this one, I was worried that I’d just gotten lucky with “Jig” and that I wouldn’t be able to replicate depicting water like that again. “Dusk Dancer” confirmed that bodies of water was indeed my artistic voice! 1/
