In New Mexico, Latinas are the backbone of our communities — running small businesses, teaching our kids, and driving our economy. Yet they’re still paid far less than their counterparts. It’s time to close the pay gap and ensure every Latina is paid what she deserves. #LatinaEqualPay #Trabajadoras

The administration must get serious, put its big boy pants on, and enter good-faith negotiations to end the shutdown and give struggling Americans relief from skyrocketing healthcare costs.

Thousands of national park staff remain furloughed without pay, our parks are losing $1M a day in revenue, and nearby communities are losing $80M in visitor spending. Families are locked out, workers are left behind, and park resources are unprotected.

I'm heading back to Washington to do my job: fight for a funding deal that works for New Mexicans and protects their health care. While Republicans stay home and play politics, I’m ready to do whatever it takes to make sure our families don't pay the price.

I co-founded the bipartisan Public Lands Caucus to make one thing clear: public lands must stay in public hands. I’ll be unwavering in my commitment to protect these places and keep them public so that every New Mexican — and every American — can experience the outdoors the way I have.

These are the lands where our communities gather, stories are passed down, and people can renew their purpose and focus on what’s important.

From the Organs to the Gila, this is the place I call home and the place I fight to protect. Growing up fishing, hunting, and camping on public lands with my family taught me resilience, self-reliance, and pride in my culture.

Happy National Public Lands Day! Is there anything better than being out on your public lands? We’re blessed with stunning mountains, sky islands and forests, sprawling grasslands and the beautiful Chihuahuan desert — and it’s all open for me and you and your families.
