I attended a grant presentation to Montgomery County for restoring a floodplain along the Wissahickon. The 11-acre project site experienced flood and wind damage from Hurricane Ida and a tornado in 2021

Many workers and families who made their homes in this region depend on the public transportation SEPTA provides. Proposed cuts at SEPTA would severely reduce their options, especially for those who rely on SEPTA to commute to and from their jobs.

PennDOT is holding REAL ID Days on Monday, April 14, including at the Norristown Driver License Center: 1700 Markley Street, Suite 30, Norristown, PA 19401.

PennDOT will not hold one on April 21 and will resume additional REAL ID Days on April 28 and May 5.

HB 291 is also referred to as Susan’s and Emily’s Law. In 2015, Susan Hicks killed at the corner of Forbes and Bigelow in Pittsburgh. In 2017, Emily Fredricks was on Spruce Street in Philadelphia when she was killed by a truck.
