But we refuse to give up. We have the power to fight back against this agenda and turn the tide. One way to do that is by securing reproductive freedom victories in the 2026 midterm election.

During yesterday's hearing, the Senate GOP spread lies about mifepristone, relied on junk science, and tried to deny the facts.

Thank you @democrats.senate.gov for bringing in medical experts and for helping us remind people why access to mifepristone is necessary—and why it should be protected.

Relying on junk science and disinformation is a trend among Republican politicians to justify their attacks on abortion access, and this includes medication abortion.

Here’s @alsobrooks.senate.gov reminding them of the facts about mifepristone.

GOP lawmakers are putting politics over scientific evidence and are trying to undermine the legitimacy of the FDA for their own selfish agenda.

“Science and evidence need to guide medicine—not politics.”

Thank you @kim.senate.gov for raising this issue.

It’s simple – abortion bans violate our freedom to make our own medical decisions about our bodies, period.

Thank you @hickenlooper.senate.gov for your continued support for reproductive freedom across the country.

It is no coincidence that GOP lawmakers are going after the most commonly used method of abortion care, medication abortion, after the Dobbs decision. Their agenda is clear: they want to ban abortion. Thank you, @kaine.senate.gov, for saying what we’ve all been thinking.

GOP lawmakers called this hearing on mifepristone under the guise of “protecting” Americans, but @SenMarkey pointed out the obvious: “this was never about protecting women, this is about controlling women.”

Thank you for speaking out, @markey.senate.gov

We agree with @hassan.senate.gov, we’re tired of Republicans in Congress trying to gaslight us and deflect to justify why they want to block access to mifepristone.

Thankfully, we have statistics and research to prove them wrong every single time.
