Think of game development like a stack of levels. The higher you go the more control in the final product.

It's so strange because the PSP and 3DS XL I have both had the batteries expand. I had to get to them and replace them pretty quickly. I've come to expect it from that era of handheld systems!

You can't even begin to grasp how my grandfather saved money. It was art.

You might be upset because I shot out a quick criticism at a brand you like? Well I'm personally upset because their aimless direction has lead to countless people losing their jobs. They've actively hurt real people and impacted their lives.

But their leadership has been abysmal. They've screwed up over the past couple of years in so many mind-boggling ways it seems impossible. XBOX should have much stronger footing than it does right now. Having it in the state it is currently does the entire video game industry a massive disservice.

XBOX as a platform have some great advantages. I like playing games on their systems and have done so for years. In fact, the way they treat backwards compatibility is the gold standard that all other consoles manufactures should strive to meet.

If only my reactions to an obviously dying brand were restricted to simply gazing at headlines. Unfortunately I've been in physical stores where they've ripped out XBOX shelves. I've seen Costco pull all their XBOX inventory out and fire sale it. I've been watching their sales numbers fall fast.
