En même temps, ça limite le recours à de l'air climatisé. Dépendament du climat, ça doit être plus energy efficient

I agree with the sentiment of this post, but I checked the dehinition of these words and except the R-word all of them have definitions that are not solely about intelligence, no? Like I sometimes call people who I think are IQ-intelligent idiots because of their actions lack maturity. Is this bad?

I don't understand the last point. If a bus frequency is every 60 mins and is now 10% faster, wouldn't that allow you to increase frequency to every 54 minutes at no cost?

La population est également passée de 1.8m à 2.3m d'habitants (+28%) pendant la même période

The main purpose of the Châteaubriand one was to calm traffic, which it did remarkably well. People drive WAY slower now and noise dropped a lot since then. It now feels like a street and not a stroad

Yes, other factors are important. And some of them are even more important.

It's the social sciences. Very rarely is there a single, unicausal factor, that drives 100% of change

This is exactly what I mean. I'm in this situation and have been doing my taxes for 10+ years. 90% of my friends in similar situations pay someone to do it for them. Main reason is that it scares them to make a mistake. I'd estimate the people doing thein taxes themselves to be <25% in qc

Id qualify your last paragraph as "pretty different". It really sends the signal that its something you have to deal with and the perceived complexity (even more so in Qc) makes it so the average person (who has on average a very simple tax situation) is scared to fck it up and pays someone to do it
