I'm thrilled to share that my first co-authored review, "Decoding sex differences in human immunity through systems immunology," on Oxford Open Immunology! I'm so grateful for the opportunity to have worked with Tianze Cao and @consigliocr.bsky.social on this. doi.org/10.1093/oxfi...

Stimulating immune cells in vitro is a common experimental lab model. We profiled 150K blood immune cells treated with 11 different stimuli to compare the effects. The data are freely available for researchers. See the preprint for our findings and to access the data 🧪 doi.org/10.1101/2025...

Very interesting work! Out of curiosity, what was the sex/gender of the individuals? Was it addressed in any way?

I’m excited to share our new study of the off-target effects of #BCGVaccine on response to #SARSCoV2 & #COVID-19 vaccines. We analysed immune responses before & after COVID-19 vaccination in healthcare workers in the #BRACE RCT. 💉🦠 #Immunology #IDsky #Immunosky doi.org/10.1002/cti2...

Lund University’s #SystemsImmunologyLab at #WomensHealth2025 conference!

Great talk from our PhD student @resabut.bsky.social on estradiol’s effects on immunity, and excellent discussions throughout the event on various women’s health topics from endometriosis and PCOS to infections and immunity.
