Of course, using the phrase "non-traditional" accidentally centres the structures we're attempting to dismantle ("traditional").

Yes, it's a fancy word. But heuristics (our shortcuts for making decisions) are everywhere. But this is a problem for output evaluation! This is why recognising diverse outputs and understanding responsible use of research metrics are important. #HiddenREF
