The mechanic has damaged the van my family lives in, and now wants basically all of our money to fix it back up. We have no other choices but will have no money for food, gas to stay warm, or our bills. Please help us. ko-fi.com/jasonmagiche...

I do. I use Chinese social media, see how they live, how their government protects them, and how their people are among the most welcoming and interesting I have spoken with. Meanwhile, our gov and big tech do as little as possible for the ppl and take as much as they can.

🎀 DS is less of an issue bc they have made their software open-source. Ppl have said the same things about all new tech, books, radio, tv, and mp3s, but in the end, we adapt to it and do our best to use it for good. I've seen no argument that shows the US isn't more of a threat to my data than China

Like all things in the world, AI has limitless possibilities for good (cancer research, helping DD ppl get their lives organized, decoding ancient transcripts once thought impossible) and evil (taking creative inspiration from works of art to the point of plagiarism, spreading misinfo.) 🎀

Yes, they are, as has been disclosed to the American people countless times when it happens. And that's the ones that are by mismanagement. META and Twitter do it intentionally to make money. Personalized advertisements ring a bell?

You are being disingenuous to deny it.

It also doesn't mean we should succumb to fear mongering. They are taking our data either way. Why does it matter if it's China or big tech in the US? It's not as if they have given us anything back for our contributions to their AI models.
