Our group is participating in the SEPPI (seppi-pollinate.weebly.com) project, where we are collecting field data to develope an 💻AI based tool👩‍💻 for monitoring 👀🌱🐝pant-pollinator interactions. Hard fieldwork done, next step is to teach our software! 🔥

Our group is busy taking measurements in the experimental tent. We are assessing the ability of native grassland plant species to outcompete invasive alien species. At the moment, taking plant height and leaf-related measurements is keeping us busy!

Our group spent the weekend learning about grassland restoration efforts in the 🌾Fertő-Hanság National Park🌾 area. We thank Gábor Takács from the NP for showing us around 👀, and teaching us about the ways the park is tackling climate change, land use change and threats by 🛑invasive species🛑.

Dr Katalin Török, our group's science-policy interface expert gave a short talk in the 🍎old fruit varieties🍐 section at the 10th MAPER permaculture conference. Orchards with old fruit varieties have a dedicated working group in the KEHOP+ project under Katalin's lead, starting this year 👀.
