It’s distressing looking back and seeing how pervasive it was, how I was told these were the people who had to be impressed and were a sign of being a big thinker. Especially, aside from the core horrors, how much these people funded and promoted transphobia that’s ruining my life now.

Love this one. The extra layers of 80s style - the plastic lawn chairs at the end, even! - made me so happy.

Oh definitely! I didn’t get to opine as much in this one as I would have liked, ha, but it was meant as a bit of a poke at dinosaur paleontology and what the sexy groups to work on are.

I love when hadrosaur skeletons come with ossified tendons and it really reinforces how strong their tails were.

She’s kind of a forever baby.

The rescue that found her said they couldn’t find her mom, and Joey was last of her litter to be adopted. I’m glad we can give her all the warmth she wants now.

I feel for the dinosaurs and wrote a little love letter to them a few years back. 🧪
An Ode to the World's Most Average Dinosaurs
They lacked the gargantuan size and spikes of the species museums often celebrate, but these species are how paleontologists learn about the Mesozoic

Yes! I need to read this, and the novelizations of the first two Gojira films.

I have made rooms full of people groan at my puns and it’s one of the best feelings I know.

I like it though! Just subtle enough that it’s fun to say if someone gets it or it’s just for me.

Gosh I need to see this again.

Also I like how brother against brother starts with a something as catty as a drink splash to the face.
