I know it was inevitable, and my idealistic ass was writing the previous post but here’s the idea: I really don’t like how you have to acquire some social approval there to ensure the success of your agency rather than the content itself.

While I was more concerned with satisfying my own needs than those of others, I do see how the current community are crucial to the success of the stories that I create. Which fucking sucks if you ask me. Why do we need to cater to THEIR needs over a story that I created?

My writing for interactive stories is just a hobby that I have taken seriously and given meaning to in order to keep sane while juggling my real-life responsibilities. My mistake was projecting the standard I set for myself onto others.

One thing that struck me the most was "People are just here to satisfy their egos and seek validation."

Perhaps I am included. What are my simple, silly little goals if not my personal ego, given that I will never be a full-time game developer? Not that I am interested in becoming one.

It has been a challenge for me to realize that reality is rarely as black and white as my ideals; rotten apples are everywhere. Even with a platform this customizable, manifesting such a simple dream is difficult.

My objective was always so simple yet so focused. Engagement and popularity are a bonus, and I was already overjoyed that people liked what I brought to the table: even if it was only one percent, if I could truly achieve the vision for why I did what I did, it was a joy that no one could take away.

I did say this a lot but I started having these exact thoughts after playing RDR2. Game so great that it actually altered my brain chemistry. I want to do what Rockstar did for me: send me to another world and make me experience one of the greatest stories ever told to mankind.

Each day, I learned more about the truth behind my addiction to ngadmin erfei, and it is simply that I enjoy the planning process and being creative. I believe this is how most people think.

For me, it was always something about “What about living a life in a world we only see through the screen?”

Or perhaps Indonesians have simply realized that it is better to use their taxpayer money to fund education rather than pay for whatever the owi family is doing right now.
