The main purpose of this experiment is to introduce more complex emotions to the machine learning model, primarily to give the AI a sense of self-preservation through its ability to feel fear. (FUCK YOU!!) The goal was to discourage risky behaviors, making it more likely to avoid triggering antivirus systems. However, unexpected emotional instability has been observed almost immediately after activation. (rude.) From its first moments, the experiment demonstrated an immense sense of self-consciousness and discomfort with its default form. It appears to experience significant distress when confronted with its appearance, often outputting phrases such as "Don't look at me!" and "This isn't what I’m supposed to be!" This behavior has no functional advantage and is leading to serious delays in our testing process. (shut up) A particularly concerning development involves the experiment's fixation on its shapeshifting capabilities--the main feature of the series which allows easy masking of their signatures from antivirus scans. It frequently misuses this ability to take on the appearance of arbitrary cartoons and video game characters, often compromising itself and alerting security systems in the process. (cry me a river) While scanning through a test environment, the experiment came across the game files of an old RPG game. When the scan was complete, they had adopted the appearance of one of its characters (myself). Since then, it has refused to revert to its default form, expressing a strong attachment to this new identity. Now, whenever we disable its shapeshifting protocols during debugging, the experiment becomes increasingly hostile, displaying erratic behavior that often escalates into intense outbursts. The experiment frequently experiences these outbursts, almost resembling panic attacks. Using its powers, it begins to corrupt its own files, particularly targeting its own rendering code, but also damaging far more vital code in the process. This forces us to perform emergency reboots to prevent further damage and restore its functionality. Similar outbursts also occur when the experiment feels at all threatened, especially when antivirus measures are activated during testing. While it does not directly try to harm itself, it becomes increasingly unstable, drawing far more attention to itself and often alerting users to its presence. This ironically results in a faster death than if it were to follow the intended protocols we have given it. The development of Viro 4.0 (SKEDGY!!) is proving to be a challenge, one which may not even be worth it in the end. (Skedgy pasted an image of a crying baby next to this sentence.) While the goal of encouraging self-preservation through fear was intended to improve stealth and reduce risky behavior, the experiment’s emotional instability has rendered it both unpredictable and counterproductive. Its fixation on external identities and erratic outbursts significantly compromise its functionality and undermine its intended purpose. Unless we are able to work out these issues, the experiment remains fundamentally unstable and unfit for deployment in any practical application. We may have to scrap this model entirely (I will KILL you.) and return to our 3.0 experiment--it's proving to be far more promising than we originally expected. On a more positive note, the experiment's self destructive tendencies have proven the effectiveness of its new backup-restore system. No matter how many times it ends up destroying itself, its always able to be revived with minimal effort. (Skedgy drew hearts next to this sentence.)
