Made it through Monday.
It felt like not a lot happened in 2025, but I'm so proud that I took back control of my life and walked away from toxic jobs that were making my mental health crumble.
I may not be exactly where I want to be, but I'm going into 2026 with a better head on my shoulders and support around me. 🥰

What were your most disappointing games in 2025?
I'd have to agree about Mario Kart World. It feels like a step back from MK8.
Probably also a little bit disappointed by Metroid Prime Beyond for being so short. I'm glad that Samus was back, it didn't take long to finish the main story.

There's only one game that was so disappointing I didn't stick with it, and that was Mario Kart World.
The "open world" was the biggest let down and I didn't find many of the tracks memorable compared to MK8.

Star Wars Outlaws, Little Nightmares 3 & Crow Country are all on this year's list for me
But especially Tormented Souls 2. The first game was 10/10, no notes & i expected more of the same with the sequel, but it just fell SO flat in every way

I was 18 when I fully came out for the first time. Caused major issues in my family, didn't speak to one parent for 7 years. Thankfully, now, they love my partner and welcome him in as their own and it truly does get better.

I don't really get why people hated the NPCs in Metroid Prime 4. Yeah, okay, Prime is usually a very isolating and solitary experience but I actually found it really nice to have a new perspective on Samus from the people within her world.

I haven't actually played Mario Kart World since the Switch 2 launched. I just really don't find it interesting enough to pick back up, which sucks cause I love Mario Kart games 😩

I don't know whether to be excited or concerned that Nintendo seems to be whacking the "Nintendo Switch 2 Upgrade Pack" on everything.
On one hand, I guess it gives devs more to work with. But on the other, it doesn't fill me with confidence if they're still focusing on 2 gens of console.

In my job hunt, I've managed to apply for the same role through two different channels. Both employers are using two different AI screening tools, and both of them have given me different responses even though I'd given exactly the same responses.

Learning the hard way that, putting off sleeping to avoid the following day coming sooner because you don't like your job does not, in fact, prevent the following day from coming. It just means you're awake, tired and probably going to struggle even more.
