The thing that stood out for me the most was how every minor character felt like they were living full lives outside of the frame, and it was satisfying to see how they connected into the larger story as it went along.

Honestly, I was so burnt out that I had a hard time hitting many spots. I liked that Kodaiji and Ryozen Kannon Temple, which share a parking lot, had enough English resources to give a better context of the grounds and was able to appreciate those visits more. I met this celebrity at the latter.
