Maize (performing his meerkat imitation) was very excited over an animal lurking in the woods. We are on high alert after the bear sighting in the area! A 5 mile walk at 19F was long enough for me in these snowy conditions.

I’ve seen a lot of birds in the yard lately so I put out some bird seed. The deer apparently were notified!
