When Bluesky restored my hacked accounts, they did not lift the restriction on posting videos. The support team took two weeks to get my response telling them what happened, and now I have to wait until they read the further info I gave them. So no new (or old) videos here for a long while, I guess.
One of my video posts replaced with a 'Video not found' error

Clip
AMC Theatres
1991-2008

This magical filmstrip surfed on his flying reel and got up to mischief that broke the 'Silence is Golden' rule during AMC pre-shows. Though his time as mascot has long passed, he can still be found in a few venues, if only as decoration, and was sold as FiGPiNs in 2023.
Clip, a CG humanoid character whose body is made up of hovering 35mm filmstrips, his face given expression by two frame lines bending to form an eyebrow and mouth A vintage painting of Clip under a spotlight, posing Clip on his flying film reel, trying to impress the audience by flexing his arm (which bends to give the impression of a pumped muscle) Model of Clip surfing on an actual surfboard, found at an AMC theatre.

Joe's still around at Cinemark, furrier than he was before, but he just shows up for family events as a few still images and in costume. I have covered Penny, Elton and Clyde though!
CG Front Row Joe as seen from 2018 onward, giving him brown, detailed tabby fur, blue eyes and an usher's uniform

Arnold
Lombard Direct
1996-2016

Lombard Direct burned their name and phone number into Britons' nostalgia with their Enn Reitel-voiced cartoon telephone, Arnold, and his regularly rerun adverts. In 2006, he was given an arguably less spirited CGI makeover, a new voice and the nickname 'Lombard'.
Arnold, a blue rotary telephone with eyes, brows, a dial for a nose, a large smile and an orange wire he uses as his hands. Arnold as seen in his first appearance on TV A live-action woman using a large phone book and Arnold's handset to call Lombard Direct Arnold in 2006, now a CG push button telephone with floating hands and larger, further apart eyes

Count Chocula with Monster Marshmallows (1996-1996): This Count Chocula variant featured the classic chocolate cereal pieces, but with the addition of new marshmallows that were vaguely shaped like Frankenstein's monster, a mummy, a ghost, and a Wolfman
A dark blue cereal box with an illustration of a wide-eyed Count Chocula, flanked by a slack-jawed Frankenstein's monster, a mummy, a ghost, and a werewolf. They are all standing behind a blue bowl full of Count Chocula cereal, and marshmallows shaped like the aforementioned monsters

In 2001, Kellogg's upped its Halloween cereal game with CANDY CORN POPS - bummer that even 24 years later, it has still never seen a re-release

Buttermen
Country Life
1977-2013

Bob, Buster, Burt and Billy; a cheerful, cheeky, proudly English butter quartet designed by Tony Cattaneo, who sung praises for butter, the country and girls. After their disappearance in the late 80's, they briefly reunited in 2000, and in 2013 for social media.
The Buttermen as reimagined in 2013: Bob, Buster, Burt and Billy, four naked men made of butter, with big noses and two strands of hair The Buttermen singing and staring with satisfaction as a housewife prepares toast and an egg with Country Life butter The Buttermen resting and having a picnic beside their small house, shaped like a Country Life butter block The Buttermen in their last animated appearance from 2000, singing for a group of women and a little boy

McDonald’s in Germany didn’t get the pumpkin when they offered the Halloween Monster McNuggets Happy Meal in 1993, but they did have an extremely sweet translite sign…

Suthon Petchsuwan makes some really zany ads. Here's the first one he did, to add some context to the flying Godzilla!
