His daily dose of levodopa was decreased from 21 pills a day (3 pills every 3 hrs) down to 13.5 pills a day. (alternate 2 pills & 2.5 pills every 3 hrs). We have another programming appointment this Friday.

Husband had DBS 17 months ago. No longer suffers with tremors, dyskinesia or dystonia. He had severe cervical dystonia. So a huge success.
Have noticed his balance has declined since surgery and I think there has been a slight cognitive decline but testing 1 yr post-op shows very minor decline.

My HWP and I go to a daily aquafit class. We love it. He does as much as he is able. The water allows him to move more freely. He always says he feels better when the class is done.

I hear my husband around 5 - 5:30 am. Wasn’t sure if that was his usual time to dream or perhaps it was a time when my sleep was easily disturbed by his chatter in sleep.

Haven’t made a clean break yet as my local news outlets have not yet started posting here. I wonder how long before I can get news and social engagement here? Maybe it’s the news angle that brings the negativity?

Your dreams sound horrifying. My husband has vivid dreams too but states he never can remember them in the morning. Maybe he just doesn’t want to talk about them. 😳
