Ended up uninstalling Dune Awakening. Loved the game world and base building. Not enough story to justify continued play. Still not a fan of survival games.

Playing Dune: Awakening, and I am not sure if I like it. I am not into survival games. Level 11 so far - will see if the story grabs me the further the game progresses.

It's a beautiful day and the college students on my street are playing hacky sack - it makes me nostalgic for the 90s.
Though there were only a few good things about the 90s like music.

I enjoyed the latest Captain America movie. While not my favorite Marvel movie, it was a lot of fun. Though the post-credit scene was a little lame for the vague teasing of secret wars. Looking forward to Thunderbolts and Fantastic Four.

As much as I like technology, I hate AI. In higher education, I can see some uses but too many people are too eager. They think it will make things easier for them. There is no guarantee that the information pulled is correct and for future ramifications. I guess I am little bit of a luddite.

In general, I don't like dystopian media unless the ending is hopeful. My main exception is Philip K Dick's writing. His dark humor amuses me so I can get through the dark parts. Like the dialing of emotions in "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?"

I was in Detroit recently and I miss seeing this mural. As a child, it always made me happy to see it when I was on my way to my uncle's house. It is not the same with it gone. I still love the word ubiquity!
