Spotted this Sony-made, HP-sold 20" CAD display on a local auction site. Single input signal at 1280x1024@60Hz so not very useful but pretty cool regardless. From 1990.

I am giving this away. It does PAL/NTSC and has SCART and accessible factory menu for image controls so RGB shift is a non issue. 20” Thomson tube you find in many arcade cabs of the size. If you know someone in Netherlands who would pick it up from Eindhoven let them know!

If you’re on a budget and need magnetically shielded speakers for your CRT, Bose SoundDock 1&2 are pretty good for the $10-$30 they go for on eBay. As a bonus they can charge your iPod too!

I was reading the manual for Abit Digidice, a small PC from mid-2000's. They don't make "deluxe" editions deluxe like they used to that's for sure!

I got my Turrican fomo edition from @RealStrictlyLTD after waiting for almost two years and having to chase down the shipment since they forgot to write half my address on the box. They still seem to have like a thousand copies left, if you'd like one. Turrican games are good.

Got some cards! These are basically an entire PC stuffed on a PCI card to use on a Mac. Reply Corp marketing must have loved DOS since the Windows 95 compatibility is only mentioned in a small print as the last bullet point on the sticker.

I don't get why people clamor for restarting CRT manufacturing. How about we use the ones already made first, and save both money and the environment? Here's a few that I've picked up, mended and given away the past 3 years. Only one person has complained about the quality.

Anyone know what is the story behind this CPU? It seems to be a regular 2.8V Pentium 233MMX but in a package I've only seen some Tillamook parts in.

Tried two component to VGA transcorers with GameCube. The no-name aliexpress one makes for a brighter image than the era accurate VD-Z3 but both seem to work just fine.

Repurposed a thin client for some retro games. Can't get the ESS Solo-1 to change IRQ from 10 though. Oh well. No X-Wing then.
