I really hope we get another kid-friendly Cutie Honey series in the future.

I'm totally fine with this but it would've been nice if they had referenced the hair combing scene! I do love all the references to the actual series and how they differ in the movie.

Yeah, I'm very divided on their work. I remember they tried to do a remaster of the old dub and it was an absolute train wreck. I'm also rolling my eyes on their new AI upscale where there's already one out there.

If it makes you feel better they'd been going nuts with the AI upscaling, so I'd say keep going your thing.

I love that Sonoko is clearly an homage to Madame Butterfly from Aim for the Ace, while the other girls look like Honey, Candy Candy and Miki (Devilman).

The manga is fantastic!
