In this season of wandering through the wilderness of Lent, I am deepening that purge by intentionally stepping away from social media. I may pop in from time to time, esp for work. But I am paying attention to where my attention goes, and too much of it feeds these algorithms of consumption.

Since November, I have sought to build more in-person, local community. It has been a season to prune what does not and will not serve me in these times of chaos.

And what is it that we do with that space in between? When we are fleshy, strong and soft, when there is a tangible physicality to our being, when we are embodied, what will we do?
