Absolutely! When this happened to me, I realized he was choosing the easy way out--filling that space in his life instead of maybe, for once, doing some healing work himself. And I was choosing the harder, but healthier way(s) to move on.

Some places have infrared red light therapy to help with inflammation and tissue healing. It looks like the wand they scan stuff with at the grocery store but used on a dog? I have only seen it on TV, but the vet school near me offers it too.

I will never forget my first C on an English assignment my junior year of HS. (AP/IB course) Or when the prof of an "easy A" class gave me a B on the final because he "expected more from me," or the B I got in college Health class bc I wasn't available to volunteer at a Fub Run for extra credit.

The truth is, I was holding myself to a higher standard than any professor ever would. And because of that, my teachers in HS and college expected higher level writing out of me, even when the standards for an assignment were simply not that serious.

I just had a hysterectomy for endometriosis. They thought I could have adenomyosis, turns out my uterus was covered in fibroids and had a tiny tumor inside. It was also, at time of extraction, preparing to bleed like a normal cycle, despite 8 years of continious hormonal suppression. 😬
