so, i get why praising a barista for a "light as air" cappuccino may seem a form of twattery. i was a barista to help pay for grad school, and making a cap (esp. the free pour) was considered a fine art. the damn thing $$$$$. so, it's ok to kindly resist the latte habits of your barista.

Even if you disagree that fear had anything to do with your vote, Nussbaum's study of fear (& related emotions: anger, disgust, and envy) is worth your time. Fear motivated Trump voters. It grips the hearts of those opposed to Trump. Understanding fear can lead to a politics of love and kindness.
