Most clergy have worked out methods to try to suss out the (rare) con from the genuine need. It DOES NOT HELP when you call and add to the con pile. It just confuses things.

First off, I get the fury against Christians who name drop Jesus and then ignore God’s children. I do. And also! Most of us field these calls every day. People who are actually hurting, ill, desperate, and have nowhere to go and we never have enough to fill the need.

They all had to be drunk. I accept no other explanation. I have never seen so many wrong things all in one place at one time. Was a Say Wrong Things contest? Have we checked on Michael Hobbes? Did the publishing of this just cause him to stroke out?
