We are not immune to violent personal and political headwinds when we gather for worship. But as we bring our ‘demons’ with us to church, we ask Jesus and our Jesus-following community to release us all from them – to drive them out though they may be legion

I think I’ve been avoiding getting more acquainted with this woman. It is hard for a woman who loves the Bible to see a woman in the Bible painted in such harsh colours. But this is not about an evil woman; it is about the evil in the hearts of powerful ‘good’ men. open.substack.com/pub/faithofo...
As so we can rejoice because Jesus has ascended. One of us is in that position of cosmic authority – someone who understands what it is to live and die as a human being – someone who understands the victim and the oppressor and can bring healing to both.
