Pre-Axial Age polytheism is wonderful for connecting to the outer world and the spirits who dwell there, but lousy when it comes to inner work. Thus, I must plug in the gaps with established traditions to completely fulfill me.

Many thanks to those who attended River Crossing’s Yule ritual last Sunday. After giving our offerings to the Three Kindred, we were blessed with the strength of Thor and the wisdom of Odin to claim victory against any challenges that may confront us.

Currently rereading. This book has been tremendously influential in my religious practice. If linguists can reverse engineer the hypothetical language of the PIE peoples, so too can we do the same with their religious practice. Inspiring and continually fascinating.
