That's a great point, when I used to handle some international shipping it was an absolute nightmare sending an email knowing the response would come at midnight.

While I could conceivably get a job abroad, unless I'm paid in dollars we would drown in debt.

Also, remote work is way less common and available than people seem to think. Not to mention the idea that "get a remote job and move to Europe" assumes a level of job security that isn't realistic.
