Yeah that can be a challenge, I'd say try and grow it out for about a month. It'll give you a good idea of where your beard would grow. Might need to cut the beard or go to a barber though if you don't like the look.

Do you have any interest in growing a beard? I know when I grow mine out I age like 5 years according to my friends.
