You're not wrong! Even Andor basically gave Cass the same character arc that Jyn had in RO. Child soldier/orphan taken in by 3rd party (partisan/smuggler), whom become disenchanted with the cause and turn to personal survival pessimism, thieves/smugglers and then reluctant heroes/rebels

I love RO bc I adore the characters. But there is no definitive "end all be all" of star wars. They’re all Star Wars in interwoven and different ways. What everyone likes is dependent on preference and that's fine! I don't get arguing one way or the other about a piece of media on that premise tho

Oh i have lots of issues with the storytelling of andor narrative themes, handling of women and poc etc but thats not a popular opinion. Ppl seem happy to gloss over that for andor but rip RO to shreds 🙃
