And finally. The last of the bunch the Late Tahini.
He was mean and grumpy and so funny. He was the polar opposite of beignet which made it very easy to care for him as he truly wanted nothing to do with me. He lived a full and spoiled life.

Beignet was the hamster of all time. I'm so sorry to all my other hamsters.

Then came Charlie. I was not intending to get a roborovski. I was intending to get another dwarf but then I saw him getting bullied by his brother so I fell for a sob story and got him. He was very timid and constantly in motion but God Damn robos are cute.

Then I built a new cage from scratch from IKEA and YouTube. It's not big enough for a Syrian but it is plenty roomy for a solitary dwarf and I was very proud of it

Then after Pancake came Smudge.
She was my first Girl and a Winter White at that. Still in the wrong cage but I was learning! She was completely different in every way. She was so sassy and funny and I got a taste for poorly bred hamsters from UK pet shops cos she had a million health issues

My first was in 2015 a roborovski called Pancake. He had been abused and neglected by the time I rescued him. He was the start of a true love of keeping hamsters and I needed him as much as he needed me. Passed of old age when he was nearly 3 years old.
