For chirstmas I got a copy of the soul eater and junji ito artbooks, got me thinking about the possibility of pushing my art in a more "manga-y" direction.

Had a lot of fun with this drawing, very different from what I usually do! Going to try more like this

I just got my hands on one of the instruments my dad made, very excited about it but I'm not entirely sure what kind of instrument it is, anyone able to identify it?

He was a jazz bass player but this is only 46 inches. Maybe it was made for a band member? It has a hole for a spike at the bottom.
