Shiboyugi is reaping the rewards of rearranging the narrative and fundamentally adjusting the framing to fit Ueno's sensibilities - apart from all that having made the moment-to-moment so enthralling. Doesn't feel right to talk about "original episode" in an adaptation so transformative though, lol
