Beats me... sometimes I wondered if I was living in a gag manga or something, it's feels like the world conspiring to screwing me so bad at least once a year.

Oh well, I'm sure that's also true to anyone else so... can't complaint can't complaint.

Anyway... don't mind me, I tend to draw something to add to my memories like this when life just being ridiculous for no reason.

Also those dudes on fancy business suit apparently doing “internal investigations” and checking supply ledgers or whatever is it, I dunno details but if I was the real culprit, I wouldn’t have handed the bottle out in the first place!

The solution?
Punish all the staffs, including me.
I was on probation as if I was the one who smuggled the chemicals into a drink bottle.
Which is why I have mind break and went hiatus for 4 months I think?

On later days, she sued my workplace. Management is dragging out the process, probably trying to dodge responsibility or pinpoint a scapegoat. Meanwhile, none of the actual culprits came forward.

I was in a rush, didn’t think twice, and grabbed the bottle, yes, the bottle with the cleaning agent. The customer didn’t check either and drank it immediately.
She vomited instantly. Ambulance came. Chaos.

Then another coworker saw the misplaced bottles and assumed it's just regular water, so they mixed them in with the other normal water bottles.

Finally during my shift: a tired mother with a crying baby ordered a mineral water.

Unfortunately, I work with a coworker who constantly smuggles workplace inventory home, especially right before our weekly supplies arrive. He’ll grab anything he can get away with.
This time, he filled a mineral water bottle with cleaning agent to take home… and then forgot to bring it.

Also if you're capable enough to translate text above like realizing end of the summer month (August), Den Den Mushi (phone), sea-train station (bus station), etc., keep that to yourself and don't post it unless you're out of World Government reach, stay safe especially for Pink and Green fellow!

But when thinking about it again, I guess I was lucky enough to alive and kicking because there's those who unlucky enough to get rammed by a navy ship and died on spot, or those who trapped in blazing buildings, etc.

The staff advised me to file a claim with the World Government for unjust assault on a tax-paying civilian, so that maybe, just maybe, I could get compensation.

The doctor told me my skull was rattled, and I’d fallen into a short coma. My weak body made recovery slow, but thankfully there was no lasting damage. Still, I wasn’t lucky, my hospital debt weighed on me like a sea stone shackle.

With nowhere else to go, I rushed up to the Marines themselves, demanding their protection since I had nothing to do with this rebellion. But you know what? They didn’t shield me, they bonked me on the head! Next thing I know, I wake up days later in a recovery ward.
September 9, 2025 at 7:06 PM
Panicked, I tried to summon a ride with my Den Den Mushi, but, no signal! The shops had their shutters sealed, and everywhere I turned it was civilians clashing with Marines, swinging pipes, staves, and whatever weapons they could grab.
September 9, 2025 at 7:06 PM
So I set off, weaving through the restless crowd and heading toward the nearby sea-train station. But luck was not with me at all… suddenly, flames broke out at the station, and the mob was hurling makeshift firebombs while the Marines answered with gas shells. Chaos swallowed the whole port.

My captain: “Oi, (my name)! We’re closing up shop early today, you better head home quick before things get messy.”
Me: “What about my wages, Captain?”
Captain: “Tch, I ain’t cutting it, you greedy rascal!”
Me: “Nyahaha! Lucky me! Getting off early!”
