Chronic problem solver and tech optimist.
This is good advice that generalizes to: try not to be full of shit.

I came here to say this ⬆️
There are good reasons to criticize Google but reflecting the poor quality of content on the broader Internet isn't really one of them.

Also, that page was marked up in quite a pejorative way to make a point.

Interesting! I'm making some big tool changes this year:
- windows to mac
- terminal to ghostty
- postman to bruno
- python to typescript

Haha! BTDT! The timeline:
9pm: ugh, we still have to pack
11pm: not getting a full night, let's just stay up?!
1am: all packed, time to do chores!
3am: I'm dying and the car doesn't arrive for another hour
5am: kill me, must sleep! where's the gate?
6:05am: oh no I forgot I can't sleep on planes! 😱

This time I don't think Noahpinion's analysis went deep enough.
Insurance companies aren't the main villain of the U.S. health system
It's mostly the providers overcharging you, not the middlemen.

Very interesting piece! Lots of your analysis rang true to me but there's also plenty of food for thought. Thank you!

A similar technique used to recreate a well known painting from Renoir instead of a ruin. This is from a visit to my home island of Guernsey.

I enjoyed a talk you gave at a DOES conference ~2018 and I happen to be going through the same process re: bsky right now. I'm so new to the platform I'm not sure if you can see my follows directly but you're welcome to crib from them if that helps as we likely have overlapping tech follows.

One of my favorite "Tip of the Day" messages from Word 2.0 is slightly related: Things that go away by themselves can come back by themselves.

Are you in town? I enjoyed the meetup last time you bought me a beer ;-)

That Atlantic piece resonated with me too. Perhaps I'm painfully naive but I'm still hoping this result stems from millions of voters' dissatisfaction with the status quo (Biden/Harris) and not an active preference (for Trump et al).

I feel your pain! I was having random problems cloning repos and building images. Turned out my WiFi interface was *sometimes* corrupting data and switching to the NIC/hard line fixed it!
