I once read about a culture where women weren’t considered marriageable until they had given birth. That way, there was little doubt that the union would result in children. Some men on this planet aren’t bothered by their partners’ sexual experience.

The decline of our own planet shows we can’t terraform Earth very well, let alone a more hostile planet like Mars. That being said, there are better ways to help the needy than to defund science.

My husband has had 17 blood transfusions this year as his cancer has gotten worse. We are quietly grateful to everyone who donates. You have literally kept him alive while the treatments have kicked in.
