The best cheer and standing ovation I've been part of happened last night. Truly deserved by @elainelee.bsky.social - giver of so much joy and entertainment! (And @brennanleemulligan.bsky.social )

Being greeted by this in my hotel room is absolutely wild. So excited for #Dimension20 tonight

I'll need a new green card next year. Not sure if I'll be able to get it, as I haven't fulfilled my quota of stealing American jobs and women lately.

Also falling behind on "far left terorrism", so I'll be watching more Colbert and wearing frog costumes to make sure I maintain appearances.

Today feels like a better day to live here. Let's keep it up. #NOKINGS

Every bullshit diet and self help influencer: "Do these ten wild things that will never help you in any way. Also drink more water."

Enough formally dehydrated rubes later, who "can't believe the difference"; You've now got a brand, money, and a regular spot on Rogan.

Burn it all down.

Looking at properties in Canada is probably the most therapeutic thing I've done in years.

I forgot I pre-ordered this months ago. Final piece in the new trio of books. The art is incredible, lots of new things to play with.

My last post was inspired by my new shirt.

Gordon Cole (played by David Lynch himself):

"When you became Denise, I told all of your colleagues, those clown comics, to fix their hearts or die".

This line came 25 years later in "Twin Peaks: The Return" and was no less impactful.

Twin Peaks introduced me to my first trans person. This came out in 1991.

Cooper greets her with a handshake and immediately starts calling her by her new name after he learns of it.

Two other characters are weird around her, but Coop just smiles and acts respectfully.

More and more, I've been noticing that the word "cringe" is being used to describe situations where people are simply being nice to others.

Let's stop that.

In my own head, the idea of fully quitting a job to focus on writing, despite having never written anything of note, met a publisher, or gained any relevant contacts in the area, is pure silliness.

Yet, every other part of me is screaming "do it you coward".

Tiptoeing the line between staying informed and staying sane.

Unfortunately that line is a tightrope swarmed by evil flying monkeys, hundreds of feet above a crystalline spike pit inhabited by Xenomorphs.

Oh and the line is on fire.

Apropos of nothing, what's the best brand of real Canadian maple syrup?

My background show for the weekend has been a rewatch of A Starstruck Odyssey from Dimension 20. Huge thanks to @elainelee.bsky.social for providing such a cool and original world for @brennanleemulligan.bsky.social and the @dimension20.bsky.social crew to play in.

This morning in LA someone heard me talking on the phone and stopped in their tracks. Took me about 30 seconds to realize they stopped to talk to me. I made a quick goodbye and said hello to the stranger. They asked if I was Irish.

When I answered yes, they simply said "neat" and walked away. 🤷‍♂️

We don't do sports on this account, but for Ireland I'll just leave this here.

We had our 5 hours of rain for the year. Always makes the higher mountains nearby look beautiful.

I have begun writing the outline for a book I've had in my head for nearly 20 years. Those first strokes of my pen actually felt a bit **nerve-racking**. Primarily because in the second sentence I realized the phrase is not said or spelled "nerve-wrecking". Off to a good start. 🫣

Over 20,000 people showing up to Madison Square Garden to watch a Dungeons and Dragons session gives me life. Congrats to all involved with Dimension 20 and D&D in general.

Planned a David Lynch marathon this weekend.

Started with Eraserhead and now I need a week off.
