And let's be honest, the only reason he's announced it now is so Madrid can negotiate a fee for him on June 1st. If he really cared he would have waited until the season ended. Now he potentially becomes the story when everyone should be enjoying the trophy lift and parade in two weeks time

I understand why the fans who booed him did, and in some ways I'm glad because it puts to bed the "if it all goes wrong I can just go back".... Liverpool shouldn't be sat around waiting for him like some wronged spouse who's partner has run off with someone younger

Stephen Warnock on 5 Live turning somersaults on how the goal should have been disallowed for offside and they were robbed. How the club continues to employ him blows my mind
Watched the match on Peacock and even with Tim Howard got a pretty balanced breakdown of the game. But 5 live on and it sounds like we've robbed them of 3 points. We're on track to break 90 points and the lack of respect is off the charts

I'm fine with "just" winning the league, but the last week has shown that this more like Ferguson's last title win than 04-05 Chelsea. There's a lot of work to do in the summer

I know it's never really been the Liverpool thing but Virgil and Mo should be allowed to end their careers with Liverpool if they want to. Have held on to them already being sorted but not wanting to show up Trent. Would be a travesty if they were to leave
