I’ll be in Main Show October 22 -26 at IX Arts in Reading PA. I’ll have lots of prints, playmats, original paintings and more. Seeing my work in person is a different experience than seeing it online. Hope to see you there!

I loved it too. I love that not only is there a great redemption arc for the monkey king but also sometimes it’s really funny! It’s wonderful that we have a that story written so long ago during the Ming Dynasty!

Thumbnail sketches are the earliest part of the illustration process. I like to push an idea as far as I can before investing time in finely rendered drawings or the final painting. As you can see I came up with a lot of composition ideas for Strength of Will!
