I just finished this 36”x48” commission. This was a challenge for me! He likes the forest, she likes the ocean, no reference photo so I had to make it up! I love to work that way but it’s hard to do for a client and keep it loose. They love my work though so I had freedom to be creative!

This one was inspired by one of my favorite places: Coromandel Peninsula in New Zealand.. I’m thinking of beautiful warm places right now, while we freeze up here in the Pacific Northwest..

These are two pieces that recently sold at Scott Milo Gallery in Anacortes. It’s been a good and strong show with 4 other artists featured as well, and ends at the end of the day Saturday 2/1! 420 Commercial Ave

I think I’m done with this reworking of a painting I did in 2001, which sold to a friend of mine back then who recently passed away. In order to live with this one coming back to me, I needed to lift it out of its darkness. Lots of personal symbolism in this piece. ‘Home is Where?’ 24”x48”

My studio-mate helped me choose the paintings I would hang at Scott Milo in Anacortes. This one is one of the more strange of those choices but deserves a closer look at the details. You can see for yourself if you go there! Show ends February 1st. Tuesday-Saturday 11-5. 420 Commercial Ave.
