Congress should, of course, say no... down to the Senate, now, to do so... but 'no poll taxes', while perfectly true, was before we got today's anti-voting rights Republican majority on the Supreme Court. I bet the red team would be fine with this disgraceful attempt to disenfranchise voters.

Makes sensible folks admire her even more... but the level of 'oh, hell-- let's just lie and pretend-- those suckers will buy anything we tell them' is impressive... and of course, selling lies has been the Republican 'go-to' for at least 50 years.

And as a sad but true footnote, the remaining diehard fans of this clown show will always believe whatever nonsense is put out... 'hey-- we're at war with Mexico-- face it!!' has been an actual response from them.... and 'Good hit him with her car!!' they insist... and so on, and so on...
