We’re on vacation just south of Jacksonville FL and…are funnel clouds on otherwise placid days a common occurrence ‘round these parts?

There are no storms around and it disappeared quickly. Just curious!

I haven’t seen any reporting on this, but the Gordon Hotel & Residences in Corvallis was approved Wed night. 75 hotel rooms, 92 apartments, and several bars & restaurants. No variances required. Maybe the most exciting downtown development in decades. archives.corvallisoregon.gov/public/0,0/e...
