Eu costumava recomendar muito os livros da @bitmapbooks.com, livros lindos de altíssima qualidade.

Pena que o autor do novo livro deles é xenófobo (referente ao Brasil) e, mesmo sabendo disso, a editora vai continuar trabalhando com ele.

É muito importante que brasileiros boicotem a editora.

Well, I think that Bitmap Books doesn't need money from "a third-world country" anymore.

As a BRAZILIAN client since the beginning of the company, I can't support them anymore.

It was a good ride.

even if you can't find a publisher, self-publish! It's reasonably straightforward to do on Amazon. Even putting out one book shows that you have the skills and work ethic to complete a project, which matters a whole lot! And if you ping me I'll help promote it.

For anyone lamenting how some goon was able to get a publishing deal - put together your own book! Create a solid concept, do some planning, create a design, and pitch it! Most publishers don't have open pitch seasons. They want to see someone that can see a full project to completion.

I've visited many castles in Japan, but Himeji really stands out. Not only it's huge, but it really feels like the inspiration for countless games.

Seriously, the way you move across multiple gated courtyards & small areas with weird angles feels just like Onimusha, Nioh, Ninja Gaiden, etc

I made this poster for The Pull Out Game Game, a campaign for Durex that will be public today in Singapore.

The art is an allegory for fertilization in the form of a space shooter game.

Heavily inspired by Zaxxon but with a modern take on #pixelart.

I loved to work on this one.

And yes, this project was approved by the client, who liked the unexpected shape of the spaceship.

Don't be afraid of showing your craziest ideas, sometimes those are the best.

And if they are not approved, that's ok, at least you tried.

Hi, I started with the ship design, I went to thumbnails for poster compositions.

Then i went to a 3d mockup to get the perspective right and show the idea to the client.

After that, I started the pixel art.

As it is an isometric art, there was a lot of copy and paste for the buildings.

Something that works for me, both in portfolio and client presentations, is a very small copy in a personal style, with BOLD keywords.

Remember that is not only about yout work, but your pwrsonality as well.

Show yourself on it.
