14yo me thought Nick was pretty cool. As well as the Trans-Am eagle on his old Rover we were never sure where he got his money from and he walked with a limp because he used to race sidecars. Clearly, a bit nuts = cool.

Car we've owned?
First gen XC90. Many, many family adventures when all 3 kids needed a child seat of some sort. Wading fords, travelling through deep snow, changing nappies on the split tailgate. Precious cargo was always safe as houses.

I put these on the RX when we got it. Only done about 1500 miles on them but seem ok. Coped well with a very wet and at times slushy trip over the moors to Whitby last weekend.

A lovely day. Fossil hunting didn't go quite to plan but it didn't matter.
Weather extremes on the North Yorkshire Moors and then down to Runswick Bay near Whitby.
Then on to Whitby for fish and chips at The Magpie Café.
200+ mile round trip and the RX took it all in its stride.

I have one. Picked up cheap on eBay ages ago. No complaints. Treated it to a new belt and Audio Technica cartridge. Only thing I had to do to it was work the pitch adjustment with some contact cleaner and good as new.

Haven't bought any discs for an age. I still had unopened ones from the first time round. But if cassettes are anything to by then a lot I'd imagine.
I only dig the players out occasionally. A few years ago I had a car with an aftermarket MD head unit so they got much more use then.
