Statuette of an Asian Dragon, in gold-colored patinated spelter.
Spelter is an alloy of lead, tin, copper, antimony and nickel. Its composition varies depending on the desired properties. Unlike bronze, spelter is lighter and its color is in white-gray tones.

This is a brass marine compass. The name "Etoile du Roy" engraved on the leather case is the name of a Corsair frigate from 1745 of the 20-gun sixth rate type whose home port is Saint-Malo (Brittany).

This is a fossilized shark tooth. More precisely, it's about an Otodus Obliquus, a shark of the lamniform order (as the Great White Shark). Smaller than the famous Megalodon, he lived at the Eocene era, on the Mediterranean sea. This Shark measured 9 to 12 meters long (29 to 39 feet).
