Why would someone put themself through this positively medieval process just to add a few inches to their height?

It’s easy to cry ‘male fragility’, but research suggesting societal biases against men of shorter height paints a much more complicated picture.

This is why we need universal free school meals - it will go a long way in helping the prevent 'shift' of the 10-year health plan.

- In 2019, 1-in-4 5-year-olds had had dental decay;
- In 2017, less than 2% of packed lunches met the same nutritional standards as school meals.
